D-Day landing beaches
The landing beaches in Normandy are rather like an open-air museum. Every year, millions of visitors flock to this site to pay their respects to the soldiers who liberated France on 6 June 1944. The beaches are located an hour and a half from the hotel and offer an intense visit during which you can relive the D-Day landings of allied troops in Normandy during the Second World War.
You can start your visit at Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno and Sword beaches. You can then visit the "Pointe du Hoc, the Omaha beach Memorial Museum, the Overlord Museum or the Musée du Mur de l’Atlantique Le Bunker (Atlantic Wall museum)…
